13 PEOPLE!!

This past Sunday, the 17th, we rode from the shop with the biggest group ever. We had 13 people show up including myself, Robin, James, Jen, Jaron, Christina, Jemal, Matt, Alex, Kelsey, Kelsey's Matt, Greg, and Gregs wife. Unfortunately, I hade hurt myself during the previous week and couldnt put a lot of wait on my should so I was relegated to my cruiser and had to watch as everyone else did a ride down the beach to Redondo without me. Boohoo! Anyway, I am so happy that everyone came out and got such a good ride in. This is really turning out to be something cool!! This is what it looked like:

Long time no post...

We had a ride this past Sunday, the 9th of February. It was great to get back out there with everybody. The ride rolled down to bagels in the Marina and then further to close to El Segundo before we turned back. Christina was on her new bike which is killer and she had a blast.

We had a bit of a hiatus from riding, and therefore from posting, due to the rain and being out of town and such. By the way, Tahoe was awesome!! Anyway, we should be riding this weekend, assuming nothing stops us. Cant wait, and should have some pics soon.

The Last R.E.I.-ders of 2007

We went out with a bang! Biggest turn out ever(8). and 5 of us continued down to Redondo for a total of about 44 miles. The roll call was: myself, Robin, Christina, Breanna, Pharon, David, Jemal, and Matt. After bagels Matt, Christina and Jemal broke off and the rest of us continued on. We proceeded to get David addicted to riding and do the longest ride Breanna had ever been on. I would say that it was one heck of a successful day.

The second Sunday from today is going to be a different sort of ride. It's longer and with pancakes in the middle. One to not be missed. See you there!!

The Long Ride

This past Sunday turned into a rather long ride for me and Pharon. After riding with Jemal and Christina to get bagels we continued down the beach path and found ourselves at the end of the path in Redondo before we knew it. It was a great day for a ride, even thought it started out around 40 degrees. Our pace was easy and we took lots of stops but we still made it back to Santa Monica by about noon. GREAT RIDE!

Sunday the 16th

Hows it goin everybody? Well, today we took a cruise from the shop up to Noahs on San Vicente. I was joined by my partner Robin, Pharon, James, Jemal, Christina, and Matt (Christine's friend). It was a bit warmer today, but by no means warm. Friday's toy ride didn't happen for use because Robin and I were the only ones to show up at the store and would have been riding around downtown Los Angeles, after midnight, alone. So... we decided that might not be the best idea. But I am planning to get another night kind of ride figured out for us all to do, probably with Midnight Ridazz. So, keep your eyes peeled for that one!!! Plus, I am thinking of a Wednesday morning training ride. One that is at least 20 miles. Until next time.
